Jourke Oosterkamp, general manager of Flowserve in Hengelo, Netherlands, presented a plaque Tuesday to Monica R. Alonzo, the Dallas City Council member from District 6. Her district benefits from the increased pumping capacity being celebrated at the Pavaho Pump Station open house in Dallas. The pumps were designed and manufactured in Hengelo and are the first concrete volute pumps constructed for storm water use in the United States.
