Staff Sgt. Noah Hohmann, an F-35A Lightning II maintainer with the 4th Fighter Generation Squadron, receives the first sortie launched from the Savannah Air National Guard Base, to Hunter Army Airfieild during Agile Flag 23-1. The exercise’s scenarios force wings to operate from multiple locations in a contested
environment using agile combat employment. This was the first exercise where the 388th Fighter Wing deployed using the multi-capable Airman construct. The exercise tests and certifies Air Combat Command’s lead wings. It took place over approximately nine days at various locations in the southeast region of the United States. The 388th Fighter Wing F-35As served as a mission generation force element for the 366th Fighter Wing certification exercise. (U.S. Air Force Photo by Micah Garbarino)
