The overall purpose of the visit is to strengthen senior leader relationships between the U.S. Marine Corps and the Philippine Marine Corps, enhance interoperability, and provide Maj. Gen. Gaerlan a better understanding of the U.S. Marine Corps’ current and future combat capabilities.
