U.S. Marine retired Col. Duffy White and Lt. Col. Christopher Winn, the commanding officer of 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, lay a wreath during the 20th anniversary commemoration ceremony for Operation Iraqi Freedom at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, March 18, 2023. White served as the commanding officer of 1st LAR Bn. during the beginning of OIF and led Marines across the Iraqi-Kuwait border March 20, 2003.
