U.S. Navy Capt. Henry F. Holcomb, the division chaplain with 1st Marine Division, currently assigned to III Marine Expeditionary Force as part of exercise Freedom Shield 23, center, delivers a combined worship service during FS23 in Pohang, Republic of Korea, March 19, 2023. The service gave ROK, U.S. Navy and Marines the opportunity to practice their religious beliefs together. The ROK-U.S. alliance is vital to the collective defense and security of the Korean Peninsula and the region, and the lynchpin of U.S. joint force posture in Northeast Asia.
