230303-N-ZZ999-1003 CLEVELAND, Ohio (Mar. 03, 2023) Force Master Chief Michael Roberts, Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, speaks at the dedication ceremony of the Maxton Soviak Simulation Lab named in honor of the fallen Navy Corpsman who died in Kabul, Afghanistan in 2021, Mar. 03. Hospital Corpsman Trauma Training (HMTT) programs are a program offered under the Navy Medicine Operational Training Command (NMOTC) and are done through partnerships with various Level-1 Trauma facilities in the civilian sector. NMOTC is comprised of six nationwide detachments that offer specialized medical training in the fields of aviation, aviation survival, surface and undersea warfare, expeditionary and special operations medicine as well as offering the advanced trauma partnerships across the United States.
