Eighteen NHNG Soldiers and Airmen were mobilized to the state prison for men in Concord to help corrections officials deal with a staffing shortage. Similar size contingents were activated twice before at the Concord prison during the pandemic in 2021 and 2022. Guardsmen are scheduled to assist at the prison for the next three months.
