U.S. Army Warrant Officer 1 Joel List, a UH-60M Black Hawk pilot assigned to the California Army National Guard’s 1st Assault Helicopter Battalion, 140th Aviation Regiment, is fully inverted in a pool while practicing underwater breathing using a Helicopter Emergency Egress Device (HEEDs) bottle during interagency underwater helicopter egress training with instructors and military helicopter equipment managers from the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire), March 15, 2023, in the pool at Joint Forces Training Base, Los Alamitos, California.
