Members of the cake detail for the Navy Ball march the cake to the front of the room to be cut by the oldest and youngest sailor in attendance during the ceremony at the New Bern Convention Center in New Bern, N.C., Oct. 20. The Navy turned 237 this year, and sailors celebrated their birthday with a strong emphasis on the Navy's role in the War of 1812.
