Heavy truck driver Danny Beligotti backs a trailer into the H-1 hangar at the Fleet Readiness Center East (FRCE) Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) New River detachment to load an AH-1Z helicopter for transport to MCAS Cherry Point for cleaning. The move marked the first use of FRCE’s new double drop trailer – commonly called a lowboy – which stands to help FRCE save money and reduce turnaround time by simplifying movement of aircraft and other heavy equipment between the depot’s sites.
