The Ammunition Recovery Section better known as “Demo,” are a section of specially trained veterans from all branches of service who provide support in the safe testing of ammunition at Yuma Test Center. Safety protocols require a safety escort on impact areas, meaning where explosives have landed. Before anyone is escorted to the area Demo clears it to make sure there’s no unexploded ordnance or other hazards. Pictured are some of the recovered ammunition by Demo. (Loaned photo)
