Reach 12 of the wide San Gabriel River as seen from its west side, March 6, near Azuza, California. The river, normally a shallow trickle, was flowing after multiple atmospheric rivers dumped heavy rain and snowmelt across the San Gabriel Mountains. A section of the riverbed at SGR Reach 12 was cleaned up by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District, March 6-13.
