Leaders of Camp Devil Dog, Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, and construction personnel cut the ribbon for the new medical facility aboard Camp Devil Dog Oct. 15. The new facility replaced the previous one to better accommodate and treat all Marines going through training at School of Infantry - East. The commanding officer and sergeant major of SOI - East, Col. Barry Fitzpatrick and Sgt. Maj. Scott Theakston, NHCL personnel to include commanding officer Navy Capt. David Lane, command master chief Edward Moreno, athletic trainer Darin Peterson and Archer Western project manager Tyler Hallinan represented their commands and organizations during the opening ceremony by cutting the ribbon.
