Marines and sailors assigned to Battalion Landing Team (BLT) 3/2, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), wait for a CH-53E Super Stallion assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 266 to land to extract a simulated downed pilot, during a Tactical Recovery of Aircraft and Personnel (TRAP) mission at Camp Lejeune, N.C., Oct. 30, 2012. The scenario consisted of BLT 3/2 inserting into simulated hostile environment to recover two downed pilots. This training is part of the 26th MEU’s pre-deployment training program.
