Fort Stewart military police make entry into and protect role players at Fort Stewart’s Diamond Elementary School March 29 during the installation’s integrated protection exercise. The scenario was an active shooter and included Soldiers as role players. Exercises like these are planned and scheduled months in advance. They are important to test the installation’s response capability to protect and take care of people, strengthening partnerships with community leaders, off post emergency responders, hospitals, and the communities around the installation.
