Norfolk, Va. (March 31, 2023). Nicholas and Lorenza Salazar, parents of MM3 Denilson Jimenez-Salazar, who is assigned to USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) listen as their son provides some touching and poignant remarks during his re-enlistment and promotion ceremony aboard the decommissioned Iowa-class battleship USS Wisconsin (BB 64). The ceremony was hosted and coordinated by the Hampton Roads Naval Museum as part of their free military ceremonies program for service members.
