230406-N-NX635-1053 EAST CHINA SEA (April 6, 2023) A Super Puma (EC-225) helicopter desposits supplies from the Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo ship USNS Washington Chambers (T-AKE 11) on the flight deck aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) during a replenishment at sea. Nimitz is in U.S. 7th Fleet conducting routine operations. 7th Fleet is the U.S. Navy's largest forward-deployed numbered fleet, and routinely interacts and operates with allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
