Retired U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Buford Blount addresses Soldiers from the 3rd Infantry Division at Club Stewart on Fort Stewart, Georgia, April 6, 2023. Blout led the 3rd ID in 2003 as the division spearheaded Coalition Forces in Operation Iraqi Freedom, fighting its way to Baghdad in early April.
