FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. -- Blanchfield Army Community Hospital Commander Col. Vincent B. Myers addresses a wall-mounted video camera in one of the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit suites to communicate with the Defense Health Agency’s Virtual Medical Operations Center, located at Naval Medical Center San Diego, during a demonstration of the Joint Tele Critical Care Network, March 24. The JTCCN virtually integrates highly skilled critical care physicians, or intensivists, from DHA medical centers, or “hubs”, like NMCSD and Brook Army Medical Center, for consultation with “satellite” intensive care units at nearly 20 military treatment facilities worldwide.
