WASHINGTON NAVY YARD (March 7, 2023) A conceptual rendering of a submission for the Artistic Ideas Competition on display during a presentation March 7. The competition is an effort by Naval History and Heritage Command (NHHC) to explore the full range of possibilities for the future National Museum of the United States Navy (NMUSN). Now in the conceptual stage, the Navy envisions the future NMUSN with greater public access, a new building, ceremonial courtyard and potential renovation of existing historical buildings.
