YOKOSUKA, Japan (April 4, 2023) – Sailors assigned aboard U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) conduct tactical team movement drills during a security reaction force basic (SRF-B) course April 4, 2023. SRF-B is a three-week course that teaches rules and regulations of an armed watchstander and provides Sailors with proper weapons familiarization, tactical maneuvers, and proper use of deadly force. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, routinely interacts and operates with Allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
