A U.S. Air Force Airman assigned to the U.S. Air Force 20th Civil Engineer Squadron levels the foundation of a concrete pad for a fire pit construction project at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., Jan. 26, 2023. The fire pit was the first of many upcoming projects conceived by the Airmen Dorm Council to further develop a sense of community for Airmen living in the dormitories on base.
