SAN DIEGO (April 11, 2023) – Dr. Chaveso “Chevy” Cook speaks at the Naval Surface Forces Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Summit at the Paradise Point Resort. The theme of this year’s summit was “Connectedness,” and its purpose was to identify and address challenges across the Surface Enterprise, help inspire leaders to build connectedness, foster community advocacy, and influence future leaders in order to build effective warfighting teams.
