Terrence Shashaty signs a National Child Abuse Prevention Month Proclamation at the NAS Pensacola Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) run Child Development Center (CDC) April 13. Observed each April, Child Abuse Prevention Month is designed to recognize the importance of preventing child abuse and the commitment to bringing awareness to the resources available for those affected.
