PORT DE PECHE, Djibouti (March 14, 2023) - U.S. Navy Reserve Sailor assigned to Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron 8 (MSRON 8), currently deployed to Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, gives the all halt signal while launching a patrol boat into the Gulf of Tadjoura, March 14. The Maritime Expeditionary Security Force is a core Navy capability that provides port and harbor security, high value asset security, and maritime security in the coastal and inland waterways. Camp Lemonnier (CLDJ) serves as an expeditionary base for U.S. military forces providing, support to ships, aircraft, and personnel that ensure security throughout Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia.
