A medic, doubling as range safety, watches on as Soldiers fire on the 9mm range.
Some of the Public Affairs units, Chaplain Detachments, and History Detachments assigned to the 81st Readiness Division’s Mission Command Support Group assembled at Ft. McClellan, AL this week to conduct range operations, the ACFT, and a number of other Soldier tasks. These tasks are often difficult to complete because of the small number of personnel assigned to these units and detachments.
The group received a special visit from Maj. Gen. Robert D. Harter, commanding general of the 81st RD, who joined the Soldiers on the range on Thursday.
