230401-N-ML137-1076 KEKAHA, Hawai‘i (April 1, 2023) Hula haumāna (hula students) with Hālau Ka Lei Mokihana o Leinā‘ala, a Kauaʻi based hula school, silently rest within the wahi pana (legendary place) of Nohili Dunes to form a connection with the mana (divine power, often from ancestral spirits) of the area at Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF), Barking Sands, during a cultural site visit. PMRF is the world’s largest instrumented multi-domain range capable of supporting surface, subsurface, air and space operations simultaneously.
