U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Zachary C. Zuend, a bulk fuel specialist with 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, prepares to construct a Modular Fuel Tank System in South Bend, Indiana, April 17, 2023. The purpose of prototype tank capability training is to gain an operational advantage in the emplacement of fuel storage capacity throughout the joint force and that attendees of this training will become subject matter experts; able to train other Marines, members of the joint force, and personnel across our network of allies and partners. The new fuel system only requires a small team to construct and can move with the unit to austere environments. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Haley Fourmet Gustavsen)
