U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Henry Johnson-Nwakaego, 87th Civil Engineering Squadron heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration apprentice, decorates a bandana as part of the Clothesline of Healing event on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., Apr. 12, 2023. The Clothesline of Healing is an event where members of the joint base community can decorate bandanas to show support for survivors and honor victims of interpersonal violence. April is Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month. Joint Base MDL observes this month by raising awareness to prevent sexual assault and harassment and to provide resources and victim support to educate the public.
