Col. Glenn T. Nissley, outgoing commander of the 213th Regional Support Group, speaks one last time to the soldiers he commanded since October 2009. "I am humbled and grateful for the opportunity to command this outstanding organization. I appreciate the honor of being considered for this brigade command assignment," said Nissley, who calls Lancaster, Pa. home. "The 213th has had 16 total deployments during my command affecting over 700 soldiers, approximately 45 percent of our strength serving overseas." He went on to thank the officers and noncommissioned officers the soldiers of the brigade, stating he could have not done his job without them and their professionalism and expertise. Nissley also named the soldiers of the 131st Transportation Company who gave their lives in defense of freedom saying, "They will always be in our memory. They will never be forgotten."
