A Paratrooper assigned to 1-319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, bore sights an M4A1 5.56mm Carbine at the Joint Readiness Training Center on Fort Polk, La., April 19, 2023. Bore sighting uses lasers to ensure that a weapon is properly zeroed for a training exercise. The bore sighting was conducted in preparation for JRTC rotation 23-07.
