NUTEKPOR, Ghana (March 23, 2023) LT. j.g. Quinn Parlier, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1, was invited to speak on behalf of the US Navy Seabees about the importance of education and the U.S. commitment to Ghana at the groundbreaking of the Exercise OBANGAME EXPRESS 2023 Schoolhouse project. NMCB 1 operates as a part of Navy Expeditionary Combat Command and is assigned to Commander, Task Force 68 for deployment across the U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa area of operations to defend U.S., allied, and partner interests.
