U.S. Army Command Sergeant Major Jerimiah E. Gan, Senior Enlisted Leader of Army North, participates in the Texas Cavaliers River Parade during 2023 Fiesta San Antonio, April 24. The parade is one of key events during Fiesta San Antonio and dates back to 1941. It runs along the River Walk in downtown San Antonio. Fiesta began as a one-time parade (Battle of Flowers) in 1891, to honor the memory of the heroes of the Alamo and the Battle of San Jacinto, has grown into a celebration of San Antonio's rich and diverse cultures.
