U.S. Army Sgt. Christopher Kellum with the Florida Army National Guard’s Recruiting & Retention Battalion finishes the ruck march, one of several physical challenges students perform during the 14-hour Hell Day. The ruck, swim, fitness test and other events are designed to prepare students for the Special Forces Assessment & Selection (SFAS). SOCOM Athlete, along with the Florida Army National Guard, conduct Hell Day events several times a year throughout the state of Florida.
