A U.S. Marine with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU)’s Maritime Special Purpose Force puts on his Kevlar prior to conducting a full mission profile raid during Amphibious Ready Group/MEU Exercise (ARGMEUEX) aboard Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5), Atlantic Ocean, April 25, 2023. The full mission profile raid was part of a training scenario testing the MEU’s ability to develop plans using the rapid response planning process to execute complex missions in a contested environment.
