U.S. Air Force service members with the 724th Expeditionary Air Base Squadron, Civil Engineer Flight, unravel a 500 thousand circular mils (KCMIL) electrical cable in Agadez, Niger, April 25, 2023. The CE Airmen used the wire to connect power to a 4,592 square-foot mobile field hospital financed by the U.S. Africa Command through the Overseas Humanitarian, Disaster Assistance, and Civic Aid program. Such endeavors continually assists Niger’s efforts toward greater stability, enhanced security, economic development, and a responsive government that best serves its citizens through security cooperation and state partnership program agreements.
