U.S. Army Garrison Japan Commander Col. Christopher L. Tomlinson and Carlos Esmurria, installation manager at Kure Pier 6 in Hiroshima, made a courtesy visit to Etajima Mayor Shusaku Akioka’s office April 24 to thank him for his partnership and support for the Garrison’s mission.
The city of Etajima is home to the Akizuki facility, one of Pier 6’s three ammunition depots.
