NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY SOUDA BAY, Greece (April 20, 2023) Lt. Cmdr. Joshua Hickman, command chaplain, Naval Support Activity (NSA) Souda Bay, teaches an Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) course during a Chaplains Religious Enrichment Development Operation (CREDO) to Sailors assigned to NSA Souda Bay and Sailors assigned to Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS James E. Williams (DDG 95) onboard NSA Souda Bay on April 20, 2023. CREDO provides an opportunity for U.S. Navy personnel to experience personal and relational reflection, increase their communication skills and elevate their spiritual enrichment throughout the ranks. NSA Souda Bay is an operational ashore installation which enables and supports U.S., Allied, Coalition, and Partner nation forces to preserve security and stability in the European, African, and Central Command areas of responsibility.
