Virginia Beach, Va. (Apr. 22, 2023)- Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 7 squadrons returned to homeport. Airborne Command & Control Squadron (VAW) 121, the “Bluetails,” Fleet Logistics Support Squadron (VRC) 40, the “Rawhides,” Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 103, the “Jolly Rogers,” and VFA-143, the “Pukin’ Dogs, returned April 21, 2023, following a scheduled deployment with Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 10, the George H. W. Bush CSG, in the U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa area of operations, employed by U.S. Sixth Fleet to defend U.S., Allie’s and partner interest.
