U.S. Army Pfc. Coker, 2nd Platoon, C Company, 1st Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, accumulates a following of nagging children while providing rear security on a patrol of Rusafa, Baghdad, Iraq, Jan. 26. It is often part of Iraqi culture that children are raised by the entire tribe or neighborhood and not just his or her parents, and are often seen roaming the streets unaccompanied at ages as young as three years old.
