PORT EVERGLADES, Fla. (April 30, 2023) The Virginia-class fast-attack submarine USS Indiana (SSN 789) is guided by tugs away from the pier in preparation for their departure from Fleet Week Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. They were the first to depart early Sunday morning, marking the end of Fleet Week. This year was the 32nd Port Everglades Fleet Week. Fleet Week has been hosted by Broward Navy Days and the event provides a tremendous opportunity to showcase naval technology and the Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen who serve the nation.
