VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia. (April 26, 2023) Naval Security Forces clear a building during a simulated active shooter drill conducted at Naval Special Warfare Group Four (NSWG-4). NSWG-4 hosted the drill in conjunction with Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story. NSWG-4, a component of Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC), organizes, equips and trains Special Boat Teams; deploys combat ready forces and maritime mobility systems in support of Fleet and joint commanders; and conducts security force assistance to build foreign security force small craft capability and capacity. Naval Special Warfare is the nation’s elite maritime special operations force, uniquely positioned to extend the Fleet’s reach and gain and maintain access for the Joint Force in competition and conflict.
