COL Brian Jacobs, USAG Fort Hamilton Commander, provides remarks on May 1st, 2023, during the groundbreaking ceremony for Fort Hamilton's new Information Systems Node (ISN) Facility project, valued at $27,540,261. The ISN Facility is intended to replace the current Information Systems Facility at Fort Hamilton, and will consist of a 10,872 square foot, single-story masonry building structure with redundant power, as well as adequate parking and loading areas for organizational vehicles.
As the only active-duty US Army base in the New York City area, the US Army's investment in this sustainable technology infrastructure underscores its commitment to the security and longevity of Fort Hamilton. By approving this critical infrastructure project, the US Army and the Department of Defense have taken a significant step towards ensuring the base's mission for many years to come.
