Representatives of U.S. Army Cyber Command were part of a 13-member U.S. delegation that supported U.S. Africa Command’s first Kenyan Cyber Workshop at the Kenyan Military Intelligence Corps Headquarters at the Embakasi Garrison in Nairobi, Kenya, April 24-26, 2023. The delegation met with Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) at their request to conduct an initial engagement to gain consensus on the long-term objectives of a bilateral cyber partnership. The delegation developed draft high-level requirements in support of creating a multi-year, multi-phased cybersecurity capacity building program. KDF leadership was thoroughly engaged throughout the workshop and expressed their appreciation for the support and recommendations provided by the delegation. (Courtesy photo)
