1st Sgt. Robert Zappata, with the Alpha Company Recruiting and Retention Battalion alongside Staff Sgt. Juan Lupercio with the Bravo Company Recruiting and Retention Battalion practice combat life saver skills on a dummy during the Best Warrior Competition on April 24, 2023 at Papago Park Military Reservation in Phoenix, AZ. The three-day competition consisted of physical fitness events, marksmanship drills, medical task, written exams and an appearance board. The competition test the readiness of service members, boost moral and foster the enduring partnership between two nations.
