U.S. Soldiers assigned to 68th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 25th Infantry Division, 129th Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 101st Division Sustainment Brigade,1st Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division (1-ID), 5th Squadron, and 4th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1 ID, all supporting 4th Infantry Division, alongside 4th Division Sustainment Brigade, 4th Inf. Div., and Signal Intelligence and Sustainment Company, Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, 4th Inf. Div. conduct the 2 mile run in the Army Combat Fitness Test during the Elher’s Cup competition at Bolesławiec, Poland, May 6, 2023. The 2nd Lt. Walter D. Ehlers' Cup is an annual competition held by the U.S. Army's V-Corps to select Soldiers who exhibit exceptional leadership, character, and courage in their duties, with the winners going to the D-Day commemoration in Normandy, France. The 4th Inf. Div.'s mission in Europe is to engage in multinational training and exercises across the continent, working alongside NATO allies and regional security partners to provide combat-credible forces to V Corps, America’s forward deployed corps in Europe.
