Navy Seabees attached with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 1 work to quickly unload wood supplies at a joint service station in the vicinity of Ar Ramadi, Iraq, Oct. 20, 2007. The Seabees were tasked with constructing additional housing units, aiding coalition forces to properly train and partner with Iraqi security forces manning the station. NMCB 1 is part of nearly 1,100 Sailors and Marines supporting critical construction efforts in the Al Anbar province of Iraq and is currently deployed to several locations in the Middle East, Afghanistan and Micronesia, providing responsive military construction support to U.S. military and coalition operations.
