Cavazos, the ceremony took place at III Armored Corps Headquarters, Fort Cavazos, Texas. The installation is redesignated based on the Naming Commission’s recommendations to remove the names, symbols, displays, monuments and paraphernalia that honor or commemorate the Confederate States of America.
