A group of structures Airmen with the 819th Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron Engineer perform simulated tactical combat casualty care on a fellow Airman during a RED HORSE exercise April 26, 2023, at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Mont. The 819th RHS is a self-sufficient, 240- person mobile squadron capable of rapid response and independent operations in remote environments worldwide. It provides heavy repair capability and construction support when requirements exceed normal base civil engineer capabilities and where Army engineer support is not readily available. The 819th RHS has individuals in the following specialties: vehicle maintenance, supply, logistics plans, services, security forces, communications and medical personnel.
