Staff Sgt. Randy Camacho, a martial arts instructor trainer with 9th Communication Battalion, helps his teammate climb her final obstacle in a race at Camp Pendleton, Calif., Nov. 7, 2012. The obstacle course race was the first challenge in the I Marine Expeditionary Force Commander’s Cup tournament. The tournament will consist of seven challenges over the course of seven months. Each unit in I MEF will host a challenge of their choice for all of the battalions to compete in. The unit with the most victories will earn the Commander’s Cup trophy, which will be presented in May following the final challenge. I Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group hosted the obstacle course challenge.
